Nsanyuse & Ndiwamukisa!!!!

That means "Happy & Blessed".  The words unspeakable joy are just the tip of the iceburg.

Our travels went well and it was a very smooth trip.  We were greeted with hugs and joy at the airport by Pastor Stephen Kibriango and his son Richards.  Their kindness has touched us beyond words.  When we arrived at their home at midnight, Jessica (Stephens wife and Richards mother) had a full meal prepared for us of beef stew, pumpkin, irish potatos, rice and ugandan pineapple.  The meal was amazing.  Their hospitality has been so humbling.

Today we came to The Victor Christian school where we were able to meet the Women of Destiny.  Words fall short on how blessed we already feel about meeting them.  We shared with the women our story and they also shared with us their testimonies on how the beads have impacted their lives.  Many women have used the capital from the beads to start their own businesses.  Some women have purchased pigs and chickens and one woman used the money to expand her table clothe making business.  Cathy shared with the women that neither of us had sisters and these women are our sisters.  Sisters of Destiny.

Beads.  Oh, the beads!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am pretty sure Cathy and I looked like a couple of crazy women at a Nordstroms shoe sale when they dumped out the bags of beads.  The women just giggled at our craziness :o)

Tomorrow we will be learning how they make the beads and we will be teaching them additional skills.

Uganda is amazingly beautiful.  The people are beautiful.  God is beautiful.  There is so much we would like to share with you all!

We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the prayers.  We feel them.  We feel as though we are sailing on the clouds and being carried on this journey.

With love,
Dawn & Cathy
